Smart Phone Photography Photo Day (SOLD OUT)

Join Amateur Photographer and TECNO Mobile this Sunday 20th July for a photo day encompassing two very different but equally photogenic cultural events. We meet at noon outside Green Park Underground station in Piccadilly to catch the first event: the Hindu Festival of Rathayatra – a procession of painted chariots that goes from Hyde Park Corner to Trafalgar Square. https://rathayatra.co.uk/

Then we head up Bond St and jump on the Elizabeth Line to Ealing for our second event: Latino Festival in the Park, the UK’s largest Latin music festival, celebrating Latin music, dance and culture. https://www.latinolifeinthepark.com/ . Entry fee will be paid by AP (usually £28).

Your mission is to create some engaging photo and video content using the latest cutting edge TECNO Camon 40 handsets. The best content will be published on AP, and on TECNO Mobile’s web and social platforms whose audiences are mostly based in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Each participant will also be asked to record a short piece to camera (no more than a minute) with AP Editor Nigel Atherton, talking about their experience of using the phones.

Latino Festival in the Park goes on till 10pm and you’re welcome to stay for the whole thing but the AP/TECNO shoot will officially finish around 4-5pm, or whenever you feel you’ve taken enough pictures!
