Not Just Any Workshop it’s a Black & White Film Developing Workshop
We teamed up with C.I.M.E Lab a black-owned Cinematic film developing company to bring our community it’s first ever film photography workshop and we dived straight in learning how to develop Black & White Film.
Thank you to all of our attendees, this workshop sold out in less than a day. We wished we could have everyone attend at once, but we always want to make sure than we can deliver impactful workshops and everyone goes home with valuable inspiring lessons.
Thank you to AUTOGRAPH for providing us with a great space to be able to deliver our first film workshop.
You would think doing our first Film photography workshop we would keep it simple and just do a photowalk but know, it was go big or go home and we dived straight into the big end of putting on a Film photography workshop that could teach our community how to develop their own black and white film.
So we started the morning with a mini photowalk, the community had to shoot 36 frames in cinematic film then back to Autograph to learn how to develop it with C.I.M.E Lab Team.
Once they finished shooting in Brick Lane it was back to Autograph, learn how to develop their Cinematic film, with one chance only and see the reveal of their negatives for the first time.
The ladies had to take their time, learn how to load their negatives in a light sealed bag. They had to measure the chemicals to develop their film, time watch because they all wanted to have images to end their day with and the digitally scan their negatives.
Ready to see the results?
We want to say a big thank you to Founder, Paul & Co-Founder Olamide of C.I.M.E Lab for partnering with us to deliver our first Film Photography workshop for our community and it couldn’t have gone any better!
